What is the difference between electronic and digital signature?

At MSB, we refer to two types of signatures: electronic and digital.

When signing a document using our Contracts Only and Signature 21 CFR policies, MSB uses electronic signatures. All documents signed with electronic signatures are locked with an electronic certificate which acts as a tamper proof seal. The electronic certificate contains information about the MSB application.

When signing a document using our Trans Sped (QES) or Aadhar policy, MSB uses a digital signature. All documents signed with a digital signature are locked with a digital certificate. This digital certificate acts as a tamper proof seal and contains information specific to you, the signer. It validates the authenticity and integrity of the document and the signer's identity.
