What is an ePhotocopy?

An ePhotocopy is facsimile of the Signed Original document, just like a photocopy of an original paper document. It is a copy of the Signed Original document which has a validation report and audit trail appended to the end of the document.

Note that the ePhotocopy contains a representation of the original signatures instead of the original signatures. For documents signed with electronic policies such as Contracts Only or Signature 21 CFR there is no change to the signature. For documents signed with a digital policy such as Trans Sped or Aadhar, please note that you will not be able to validate the individual identities of the signers within the ePhotocopy. Please retain a copy of the Signed Original document in order to validate the signer identity. The ephotopy is only locked with a tamper proof seal (however the validation report and audit trail will contain information regarding the status of the original digital signatures).
