How can I reset my password?

Visit your MSB login page in your web browser. _ If you do not know the URL to the MSB system which you are trying to access, simply click the MSB DOCS logo in the upper right hand of the Signature Request email that you received. This will take you to the correct MSB system _
Click the 'Forgot Password' link in the login form.
On the next page, the form will ask you to provide your registered email address. Click the Send button once you enter your email address.
Check your email for a password reset email.
Click the link in the password reset email. This will bring you to a password reset form.
Enter your desired password. Your password will need to match the password rules.
Complete the change password form and submit it. You can now log in with your new password.

What is an ePak?

An ePak (E-packet) is an electronic package of documents that has been sent to a recipient to sign or review. An ePak may contain one or more documents.

Does the person I’ve asked to sign a document need an MSB account?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your MSB configuration.

If your instance of MSB has been configured to allow sending ePaks to non-registered users, then you may send an ePak to anyone by entering their email address. The recipient may or may not be required to register an account depending on the signature policy you have selected.

Contracts Only - The user will only be required to register with MSB if two-factor authentication has been configured for this policy. If two-factor authentication has not been configured they can simply click the link in the email and sign without registering. The user will have the option of registering after signing the document if they choose. Regardless of if they register or not, you may still continue to send epaks to the user.

Signature 21 CFR - The user will be required to set a password to register prior to signing the document. The registration process is quick and easy. They simply click the link in the email and MSB will prompt them to register. Then they can sign the document.

Digital Policies (such as Trans Sped, Aadhar) - The user will not be required to set a password and register prior to signing the document. However, they will not be able to sign the document without existing credentials with the Certificate Authority. MSB will prompt them to authenticate using their digital certificate details in order to sign the document. The user will have the option of registering after signing the document if they choose. Can I login via SSO (Single Sign-On) ?

If MSB has been deployed to be connected to your organizations LDAP or other identity management service you may login using your company login credentials via Single Sign On. Click on the “Employee Login” link on the login screen to access your company login screen. Login with your company credentials and you will automatically be taken to MSB.

External users in this case (users outside of your company that do not have SSO credentials) may click the “External Partner Login” link to access the MSB login form.

What is my username?

Your username is your registered email address. If you are a Single sign on user, please login using the SSO login button. Please reach out to support@msbdocs.com if you require further assistance.

How do I know if an electronic document has been altered, or that the Signatures are valid?

Accepted Answer

Once you download a signed document, you can open in Adobe Acrobat Reader to verify that the signatures are valid and the document has not been tampered with.

For documents that have been signed with our Contracts Only and Signature 21 CFR policies, as well as all ePhotocopy documents, MSB uses a certificate issued by Entrust as a tamper proof seal. Entrust is a member of Adobe Approved Trust List, so if your Adobe Reader has been configured with the recommended settings no further steps are required to validate the document. Simply open the document in Acrobat Reader and it will display a blue bar across the top of the document. The blue bar will display any messaging regarding the validity of the document. If the document has not been tampered with, the following message will display:

For documents that have been signed with a digital signature policy, such as Trans Sped you will see a slightly different message on documents that have not been tampered with:
